Music plugin update - - Released!

Hey everyone, the update for the Music Plugin is now available for download in the client area! We hope this update corrects the issues that some people have been experiencing. As always, we appreciate your feedback, let us know if you experience any problems what so ever.

Hey Brett, It would be great if the music would continue to play while users click on other links of the owners profile, i.e., while looking at albums or reading a blog entry.

Over here in Germany i got to have the ability to save the names of songs not being played by the owner and the actual number of plays per song per month. How hard would it be to implement that? Is there anybody who would need this too and would be willing to share the costs of a third-party developer?

I am wondering , because I have bought his plugin....if, let's say 100 profiles are being viewed simultaneously and have music on it, wouldn't this slow down dramatically the page load of all users? I have 10 MB on switch but I thing soon I would have to move on 100MB because of this plugin.
Users are just crazy uploading music on their profiles, they upload , upload , upload, nothing stops them...
I have also the points plugin from radcodes ...and it would be verrryyyy interesting if I could give access to different features like music only if they have gain points to some extent.

the plugin works now with firefox very well.... but i`ve got extreme problems with safari...

Im encountering this error, but mostly it's browser related (Firefox 3) - from the demo site, the uploader works but it stops at 11 or 5% or somewhere between. The progress bar freezes from there, however on IE 7 it flows like a nice stream. However, i would normally check after a few minutes and it shows that the song has uploaded.

Yes, the music player does use JSON, it's part of the AJAX callback functionality

activity points & photo tagging use json. there's a check if the functions are missing before - this is the correct dev. way. Probably in the music plugin, there's no check for that activity points: include/functions_semods_compat_jsonencode.php photo tagging: include/functions_phototagger.php

@tkdennis - Are you using either the Points or Friends Inviter plug-in from Josh? I have those and one of them (not sure which one, since I don't have the install files on this computer) declares the class services_json, soounds like one of them might be clashing with the music plug-in.

@au8ust, I'll look into the language issue, It's possible that I missed a couple. And there was never a 'Move down' option, only move up.

Another problem, I can listen only first two songs. The rest is not in the playlist (on the profile page), however I can see them in the user_music_edit.php

Brett, there is no 'Move down' in the playlist. Only 'Move up' :(

I noticed that some language strings aren't in use. On the page user_music_upload.php there are Edit Music and Music Settings that don't use the string from the language file. Also 'Overall Progress' and 'File Progress' are displayed in English instead of my language I've translated. 'Upload with', 'Remove' and 'Time left' aren't in the language files so can't translate them.

I am also getting this error when I try to view users in a user level: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class services_json in /home/trekdencom/public_html/network/include/class_music.php on line 570

Also, I just get an httpStatus 403. So now my users went from being able to upload music, to not at all now. Lol!
