Charlotte, since you're updating the plugins, perhaps you can consider using NicEdit.com instead of FCKedit? It's much smaller and loads faster for dialup members.

I love the iForum but I absolutely hate FCKedit. Its just too big and slow causing people on dial up to give up on using iForum (and the blog too). I replaced it with a custom NicEdit.com toolbar. Perhaps you can standardize on this?...

thanks for the clarification about the date storage. now, we can have birthdays optionally have the year inputted! :)

This is great news. BTW, why the change in date storage? I thought using timestamps were the best way to implement this.
